Our Mission

We seek to provide a safe space where at risk children and young adults can come for healing and spiritual awareness in an equine setting.

“I can tell a difference in my child who spends time with Kayla and Jackie at A Healing Hope. When we first started coming in December of 2023, our hopes were high and yet we didn’t really know what to expect. First, I love that Kayla brings the perfect mix of Biblical viewpoints with scriptural references. Second, my child is having fun brushing and walking a 1,000 pound Jackie, the gentle giant. This has been like mixing 2 different cakes mixes in a beautiful swirl with an added benefit of a gracious and personable presentation of reality in the Christian walk lived out by Kayla on a weekly basis. I have watched my child start to come out of her shell through the miraculous time with Kayla and Jackie. I feel like the time at A Healing Hope has begun to give her the confidence to speak up and I am so grateful. Now when she vocalizes things that bother her, I’m able to show her that we are a team in looking for solutions to help her in the healing process. I am so grateful for the opportunity for my child to attend and experience time with Jackie and Kayla, as I see this becoming a pathway to her healing.”
